Samuel Appiah Gyan and Emmanuel Appiah Gyan both born on Monday 3rd April 1989 are twins who studied Agriculture with a major in Post Harvest Technology and Landscape Management and Architecture, respectively at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana.
Samuel likes acting, writing music & movie scripts and singing. Emmanuel loves singing, acting, writing music, making friends and helping others to achieve their goals. The two were musical performing artists with the performing name of TwinsDontBeg (TDB). Until they finally discovered music wasn’t their thing but Photography was the main thing to tackle.
They threw their certificate under their bed and took cameras to be photographers after they graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2014.
Sammy and Emma are currently the official cinematographers to the President of the Republic of Ghana and the social media handlers for the wife of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.
Samuel’s favourite phrase is “One should work hard and stop begging because begging is a sin” and Emmanuel’s is “It’s about time we stop begging people for opportunities and start creating our own”. These sayings came from their struggle from their musical life to the struggle of their photography life.
