Renowed TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, has finally reacted to the saga surrounding the number plate of her Range Rover birthday gift which drew attention and got people talking all over social media.
The TV broadcaster, while speaking to host of Morning Starr said she reported to the police right after the noise all over social media that the number plate was fake, and the actual owner of the plate was a Nissan Rogue car.
According to the General Manager for GHOne TV, she immediately took steps to correct the error and got the vehicle registered in her name.
” When I noticed the concerns about the number plate, I went to the police myself to file a report. The next day, I went to the regional CID officer and filed a witness statement that I had received a car with a fake number plate. I took it seriously. I don’t know how this number plate came on the car and the police are investigating”.
Nana Aba added that like all the other gifts she had received throughout the day, she was also very happy to have been gifted such a big “monster” on her special day.
She stated that it was a gift and she had nothing to do with the fake number plate since she could not have known it was a fake one.
“I received as a gift, I have nothing to do with it and I don’t even have that money to buy such a car,” she added.
Nana Aba Anamoah became the topic of discussion on social media after she received a sleek Range Rover Sports car on her birthday.
After the furore about the gift, it came to light that the Range Rover registered with “GR 2050-20” was actually not accurate.
